A recent Facebook video and Instagram photos show Las Fenix and Dezigual working on a collaboration this week in San Antonio.

“En el estudio con nuestros amigos del grupo Dezigual aqui en SATX! Muy pronto lo podrán escuchar,” Las Fenix posted on their official Facebook page with a video on Tuesday (Dec. 29).

Songrwriter Velia Maria Gonzalez gave details about the collaboration on her Facebook page on Tuesday.

“I’m super excited,” Gonzalez posted. “The beautiful and talented ‪Las Fenix‬ recording a song that I co-wrote several moons ago with my hubby Juan Manuel Gonzalez and recorded by the awesome ‪Jennifer Peña‬ and went on to receive an American ‪Grammy nomination!”

The project is being recorded at San Antonio’s Black Cat Studios and from what we hear in the video and the talent we see in the photos, including Gabriel Zavala and Ricardo Castillon, we can’t wait to hear the finished product.
