
The Texas Talent Musicians Association handed out 2015 Tejano Music Awards to Tejano music’s biggest and brightest stars at the 35th anniversary celebration inside San Antonio’s Tobin Center for the Performing Arts on Saturday night.

The night’s biggest winners were Elida Reyna with three awards and Jesse Turner Y Siggno with four awards. Reyna picked up trophies for Female Vocalist, Best Tejano Album and Vocal Duo of the Year with Jay Perez. Turner won Entertainer of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, and Best Norteno Album and Song of the Year with Siggno.
Tejano legends Roberto Pulido and Ruben Ramos were honored with Lifetime Achievement Awards.
Tejano newcomers were also bestowed with trophies, Grupo Imagen picked up Best New Group, Juan Jose Rodriguez from Bajo Zero awarded Best New Male and Yvonne Ramos as Best New Female.
Tejano music’s biggest night — live for the first time at the Tobin Center in San Antonio — is the TTMA’s most massive yet. Not only was it streaming live on KXTN.com, but it was longer than normal, coming in at a just under 5 hours, from pre-show to the grand finale.
