SAN ANTONIO, TX – The iconic Patio Andaluz Reunion live album from the The Royal Jesters has been re-mastered and will be released on Thursday, October 1, 2015.
The legendary band gathered for a historical final performance on a cool October night in 2010. The performance was known as the Patio Andaluz Reunion. That iconic San Antonio sound of the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s was a weekend musical staple at the Patio Andaluz and at the big dances that were held at the Municipal Auditorium twice a year, on the last day of school and during the Christmas break. San Antonio teens danced to the sounds of The Royal Jesters, Sunny Ozuna, The Dreamliners and many more.
The Royal Jesters’ Patio Andaluz Reunion captured that nostalgic sound in their final performance with special guests, Jimmy Edward, Rudy T. Gonzales, Joe Bravo, Little Henry Lee, Joe Jama, Ralph Cortez, and Chente Montez.
This live album has been re-mastered and will be released this Thursday, October 1, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the east rotunda of the Tobin Center for Performing Arts, located at 115 Auditorium Circle in San Antonio. This album release celebration is a musical walk down memory lane and will be available for free to the first 100 fans in attendance.
The legacy of the San Antonio sound continues. Also, more will be revealed on a Oldies Celebrity Showcase — PATIO ANDALUZ REUNION CONCERT & DANCE slated for Sunday, February 21, 2016.
