Rising Tejano singer Phoebe Marie released the official video for her latest single “Gordito” late Tuesday night.
The video for the singer’s second single from her upcoming self-titled album was produced and directed by Ryan Bazan.
“It was a fun experience shooting this video,” Phoebe Marie told TejanoNation.net. “It was funny and I felt very relaxed. The characters in the video, The Party Brothers, are my childhood friends and the director Ryan Bazan is great and made me feel very comfortable.”
Laredo radio personality Raul Perez from Z93 played the “Gordito” in the video.
“Over all it was a fun experience. I want my fans to enjoy the humor of my song and video,” Phoebe Marie added. “Hope this video can put a smile on you face.”
The cumbia is the follow-up to the summer smash “La Isla Bonita,” and is written by Phoebe Marie and Mony De La Garza from La Conquista.
