The band shared the news on their official Facebook page on Tuesday.
“Les presentamos nuestro primer y nuevo sencillo Me Pezcó, escrito por nuestro cantante y compositor Alex el Big Boy. Gracias Freddie Records.”
Loosely translated, “We present our first and new single Me Pezcó, written by our singer and songwriter Alex the big boy. Thank you Freddie records.”
Big Circo’s new album Póngase Alerta will be released on September 25, 2015, with 12 new songs on the disc. It’s the first album in almost 10 years from the band.
An A. B. Quintanilla side project from the early 2000’s, this group has been described as a fusion of hip hop and traditional Tejano sounds. The band used traditonal Mexican/Tejano/Conjunto musical intruments, such as the bajo-sexto, accordion, conga drum, and the guiro, while creating an alternative sound.
