Big Circo to release new album on September 25, 2015.

Legendary record label Freddie Records announced the release date for the new album from Tejano/Hip Hop fusion group Big Circo.

The following was posted on Freddie Records official Facebook page on Wednesday.

“Freddie Records se enorgullece en anunciar la fecha de lanzamiento para el nuevo album de BIG CIRCO titulado PÓNGASE ALERTA. La fecha de lanzamiento sera 25 de septiembre 2015. PÓNGASE ALERTA incluira 12 nuevas canciones. El primer sencillo “Te Pezco” escrito por el lider del grupo Alex Salinas llegara a la radio el 26 de agosto. No se lo pierda. Freddie Records le da la bienvenida a BIG CIRCO a su nueva casa disquera.”

Loosely translated, Big Circo’s new album Póngase Alerta will be released on September 25, 2015, with 12 new songs on the disc. The first single to be released is “Te Pezco,” written by group leader Alex Salinas, and will hit radio on August 26, 2015.

An A. B. Quintanilla side project from the early 2000’s, this group has been described as a fusion of hip hop and traditional Tejano sounds. The band used traditonal Mexican/Tejano/Conjunto musical intruments, such as the bajo-sexto, accordion, conga drum, and the guiro, while creating an alternative sound.
