Stefani Montiel and Gabriel Zavala’s daughter makes Spurs Silver Dancers Finals

Ileah Zavala, the daughter of award-winning Tejano star Stefani Montiel and award-winning hitmaker Gabriel Zavala, made the finals for the San Antonio Spurs Silver Dancers.

Ileah, who just turned 19 in June, is vying for a spot with the Spurs Silver Dancers for a second straight season.

She was captain of the dance team for the San Antonio Talons, an Arena Football League team, at the age of 17.  She also became an official backup dancer for Stefani at the age of 16.

Proud mom Stefani showed her excitement via Facebook on Tuesday.

“ILEAH MADE IT TO THE SPURS SILVER DANCER FINALS!!!!!! Now she needs YOUR help to make her the “fan favorite”!!! Please vote and share!!! You can vote as many times as you like so please tell everyone you know…the more the better!!!…Ready. Set. Vote ILEAH!!!!!!”

The top 30 Spurs Silver Dancers finalists will audition in front of a live audience this Sunday, July 26th at the Arneson River Theater on the Riverwalk in San Antonio at 7:00 p.m.  Admission is a $5 donation to local flood relief fund through Silver & Black Give Back.
