La Gringa Novelera: ‘Bajo El Mismo Cielo’ theme song ‘La Bamba Rebelde’

Hola! I have exciting news!

This is the song “LaBamba Rebelde” by a terrific band called Las Cafeteras.  They are not a new band, but they are new to me and I love them!  This song is the theme song for the new telenovela coming MUY PRONTO to ‪#Telemundo‬, #‎BajoElMismoCielo‬.

This story is set in L.A., and it is about a man (Gabriel Porras) who moves to LA from Mexico with his sons to give them a better life.  The novela is based upon the great movie called “A Better Life.”

I’m very excited about this new series, and I’ll be writing a lot more about it, and this great song, soon! And if I’m very lucky, I’ll be interviewing Las Cafeteras very soon!  I have a lot of questions for them, and if you do too, let me know what you’d like me to ask!!
