AUSTIN – 2012 Tejano Idol runner-up Devin Banda will make her acting debut in the upcoming film End Of Me.
“I was asked to play the part of a gospel singer in the film, “Banda told TejanoNation.net. “It was incredible because I was asked to sing the exact same song I sang in a fifth grade talent contest.”
That song was “Praise You” by Mary Mary. Banda’s current hit, “Yo Te Dije,” will also be featured in the Thomas Jaramillo film.

“I was even more excited when we got the call about my debut single being featured in the film as well,” Banda said. “What an honor! I am so thankful to Thomas Jaramillo and all the actors and crew.”
End Of Me is a Christian-based film produced by Reel Talk Films and is the follow-up to Jaramillo’s Agony film. Agony was met with great response and great ratings from viewers.
“I can’t wait for the film to come out for everyone to see it,” Banda added. “I am so excited to be a part of this film.”
End Of Me is due for release this year.
