A.B. Quintanilla confirmed a Kumbia Allstarz reunion for Mexico tour dates in June.
The Kumbia King Allstarz will be joined by Chris Perez, Pee Wee and Ricky Rick during the band’s three shows in Mexico. The stops include Guadalajara on June 26, Monterrey on June 27 and Mexico City on June 28.
Quintanilla confirmed the news on his official Facebook page on Monday.
“Chris Perez confirmed for the reunion of Kumbia Allstarz in Mexico,” he posted. “Guadalajara Telmex Auditorium June-26, Monterrey Auditorium banamex-June 27, and Mexico D.f. Auditorium national-June 28.”
Quintanilla later posted that former lead singer Pee Wee and vocalists Ricky Rick, Roque & Memo Morales were also confirmed for the reunion in Mexico. Pee Wee left the Kumbia Allstarz in early 2008 to pursue a solo career. Ricky is currently a part of Mi Estereo, a project with former Kumbia Kings member DJ Kane.
