SAN ANTONIO  H-E-B announced Saturday it is pulling all Blue Bell Creameries products from its stores while the Brenham-based company works to resolve problems that led to the first recalls in its 108-year history.

“H-E-B has decided to withdraw all existing Blue Bell products on its shelves as a precautionary measure due to food safety concerns. Working with Blue Bell, we will replenish our shelves with new product as soon as feasible,” H-E-B said in a brief press release Saturday afternoon.

Customers may return Blue Bell products to H-E-B stores for full refunds and those with questions may call the company’s customer relations department from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at (855) 432-4438.
