Nikki Lopez releases solo debut single ‘Voy Por Tu Corazon’ [AUDIO]

AUSTIN – Former Los Texas Wranglers singer Nikki Lopez has released her solo debut single “Voy Por Tu Corazon” featuring Trampia.  The single is a spin on the Katy Perry hit song, “Dark Horse.”

The cumbia was produced by Grammy Award winners Wild Bill Perkins and Hugo Guerrero at Nightmare Audio Studios.  Guerrero, a musical genius, plays all the instruments on the track except the accordion, which is put down by J J Olivarez.

“Nikki Lopez is amazing, she’s got this spark, this charisma,” Wild Bill Perkins told Tejano Gold Radio recently.  “She starts singing and she just infects the people and gets the people going.”

Austin’s own Trampia Guzman, two-time winner of the coveted Austin Music Awards “Hip Hop Artist of the Year” and “Cruisin’ King” lays down an amazing rap on the back side to put this record into a category of its own.
