Lineup set for David Farias benefit concert in SA

davidfariasvanSAN ANTONIO – The lineup has been set for a concert to benefit David Farias and his band after their tour van caught fire after a recent show.

Farias and his band lost their instruments when the band’s tour van caught fire near Austin returning home from an event.  The benefit concert for Farias has been scheduled for March 29 at the Far West Event Center in San Antonio featuring Tejano’s best.

The benefit concert will feature special performances from David Lee Garza, Los Desperadoz, Chente Barrera, Raulito Navaira, Ricky Valenz, Los Texmaniacs, La Calma, Ricardo Castillon, Eddie Gonzalez and more!

“I definitely wanna ask everyone to come out this coming Sunday March 29th, to support my good friend David Farias and his band,” Valenz posted on Facebook. “There is going to be a helluva line up of ‘Live music’ so please do make plans to come out to Far West Event Center and party for a great cause & person.”

The cost to attend is a $10 donation at the door and all proceeds benefit Farias and band to replace instruments and other valuable items lost in the van fire.

Doors open at 4:00 p.m. at Far West Event Center, located at 2502 Pleasanton Road in San Antonio.
