The Dallas-Fort Worth area is preparing for two major Tejano events that promise to deliver music, nostalgia, and high-energy performances. Both concerts will take place at the iconic Gomez Western Wear Arena in Mesquite, Texas, setting the stage for two of the most anticipated shows of the year.
Tejano Festival Returns with a Legendary Comeback
On April 11, the third edition of the Tejano Fest will once again bring together fans from across the region. Known for its strong lineups and family-friendly atmosphere, the festival has become one of the most important Tejano gatherings in North Texas.
Headlining the event is the long-awaited return of Elsa García, widely recognized as “La Primera Dama” of Tejano music. After 20 years away from the DFW stage, her comeback is expected to be a historic and emotional moment for fans.
The lineup also includes Texas Latino, David Farías Band, Tejano Outlaw, and Los Desperadoz, each bringing their own style and energy to the stage.
This is an all-ages event, making it an ideal experience for families and fans of all generations.

“La Despedida Tour” Returns April 18
The excitement continues on April 18 with “La Despedida Tour,” headlined by Tejano superstar Bobby Pulido.
After what was announced as his farewell performance in the DFW area last November, Pulido returns once again by popular demand. With a career spanning more than three decades, he has solidified his legacy as one of the most recognized figures in Tejano music.
Fans can expect a powerful and nostalgic performance featuring the songs that have defined his career.
Joining him on stage will be his father, Tejano legend Roberto Pulido, whose timeless hits continue to resonate across generations, as well as Pete Astudillo, who returns to the Metroplex with his signature sound and stage presence.
The evening will begin with an opening performance by Sin Sentido.

A Must-Attend Moment for Tejano Fans
Both events are expected to draw thousands of fans from across Texas and beyond, reinforcing the DFW area’s reputation as a major hub for Tejano music.
From a historic return to a highly demanded encore performance, these concerts represent a significant moment for the genre and its fans.
Tickets for both events are available through the official Gomez Western Wear Arena platform at mesquite arena.com.
