Tejano Music Awards Fan Fair Returns to San Antonio’s Hemisfair for Four Days of Music, Culture, and Community

Free festival March 12–15 brings legendary Tejano artists, rising stars, meet-and-greets, and family fun to the heart of the Alamo City

The highly anticipated Tejano Music Awards Fan Fair is set to return to Hemisfair in downtown San Antonio, Texas, from March 12–15, 2026, transforming the historic downtown grounds into a four-day celebration of Tejano music, culture, and community.

Hosted in the heart of San Antonio, the annual gathering has become a cornerstone event for the genre, bringing together fans, artists, and industry leaders from across the United States and Mexico. Organizers describe the event as more than just a festival — it’s a family reunion for the entire Tejano industry.

This year’s Fan Fair promises four days of nonstop entertainment across three stages, featuring both legendary performers and the explosive “Next Generation” of Tejano stars. Best of all, the event is completely free and open to fans of all ages.

Opening Ceremony

Festivities begin Thursday, March 12, with opening ceremonies at 4 p.m. on the Mexican Plaza Stage. The ceremony will feature a special performance by the Viva Tejana Dance Company and the national anthem performed by Jenny B.

Star-Studded Lineup

Fans can expect a packed lineup of Tejano favorites and emerging artists throughout the weekend. Scheduled performers include Jay PerezSiggnoLa FiebreDavid OlivarezPatsy TorresEddie GonzalezRicardo Castillon y La DiferenziaMonica SaldivarLa CalmaGrupo VidalFama, and Da Krazy Pimpz, along with many more acts representing the depth and diversity of the Tejano sound.

One of the highlights will be a reunion performance by Grupo Stampede, giving longtime fans a chance to relive classic hits.

More Than Just Music

Beyond the live performances, the Fan Fair offers a full festival experience for the entire family. Attendees can participate in artist meet-and-greets, shop unique vendor booths, and sample a wide variety of food and beverages.

Special guest meet-and-greet appearances will include actors Valente Rodriguez, Danny De La Paz, and Panchito Gomez.

Meet-and-greet sessions are scheduled for Friday and Saturday with two opportunities each day: from 2 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. and again from 4 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.

Event Schedule

The festival runs across four days with extended hours to maximize the celebration:

  • Thursday, March 12: 3 p.m. – 12 a.m.
  • Friday, March 13: 12 p.m. – 12 a.m.
  • Saturday, March 14: 12 p.m. – 12 a.m.
  • Sunday, March 15: 12 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Safety and Entry

Admission is free all four days, making it one of the largest no-cost Tejano music events in the country. Organizers emphasize that security will be strictly enforced, with the festival grounds fenced for public safety. Outside coolers, food, beverages, weapons, and firearms will not be permitted.
