BIG SPRING, Texas — Grupo Entrego is celebrating the release of their brand-new music video for “Aquí Estoy,” and this time, the spotlight shines on the next generation.
In what the band describes as one of the most meaningful projects of their career, Grupo Entrego invited their children, godchildren, family members, and even devoted fans to step into their shoes and “become” the band for a day. The result is a heartwarming and joy-filled video that captures not only the spirit of the song, but the legacy behind the music.
Leading the young cast was Demi Martinez, granddaughter of lead singer Chris Martinez and niece of Amber Martinez, who portrayed her aunt as backup vocalist. Taking center stage as the young frontman was Chris Martinez’s godson, Zatiah Rivera, confidently embracing the role of lead singer.
Behind the kit, Gavin Martinez — son of Erick Martinez — brought rhythm and energy as he portrayed his father on drums. On congas, Tommy Castro, son of Tony Castro, added vibrant percussion to the set. Traveling all the way from Fort Stockton, devoted fan Eli Cordero joined the production to portray Richard Losoya on accordion, proving that Grupo Entrego’s music resonates far beyond their hometown.
Rounding out the youthful ensemble were Max Marquez on bajo sexto, stepping in for Albert Moncibias, and Halney Gonzales on bass, portraying Rey Bennett. Both were last-minute additions who delivered standout performances, showcasing the depth of young talent inspired by the band’s journey.
The video was directed and filmed by award-winning filmmaker Ryan Bazan of RB Films, who made the trip from San Antonio to capture the special moment. Production took place at The Courtyard in downtown Big Spring, where family and friends gathered to celebrate, dance, and jam along to “Aquí Estoy,” creating an atmosphere filled with pride, joy, and community spirit.
“This video was more than just a production — it was about paving the way for the youngsters and letting them shine as the true stars,” the band shared. “Seeing them step into our roles and have so much fun reminded us why we do what we do.”
Grupo Entrego extended heartfelt thanks to everyone who came out to support and be part of the unforgettable experience.
