“Puro Tejano” Fierro HD is shaking up its weekday lineup, announcing a pair of host moves that will bring a fresh rhythm to the station’s daily programming while keeping its Tejano roots front and center.
Beginning Monday, February 2, longtime afternoon host Bo Corona will take over morning duties. Current morning personality Bo Leo will transition to the afternoon slot starting Monday, February 9, following his return from the Gary Hobbs and Friends Cruise.
The announcement was made via social media on Friday, January 30, with Bo Leo engaging listeners by asking fans whether his popular “Chulo” cast member should make the move to afternoons alongside him—sparking immediate buzz among Fierro HD’s loyal audience.
Bo Corona is set to kick off his first morning show in a big way. He shared that La Mafia frontman Oscar De La Rosawill be his inaugural guest on February 2, joining him to discuss the launch of La Mafia’s own brand of tequila, De La Rosa’s signature hat, and much more.
Fierro HD can be heard on HD radio at 107.5-2 in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex and 101.1-2 in the Houston–Galveston area, as well as worldwide on the Audacy app, continuing its mission to deliver Tejano music to listeners everywhere.
The lineup shuffle comes as Fierro HD celebrates its 10-year anniversary, marking a decade since its March 2016 launch in Dallas–Fort Worth with Bo Leo as the original morning host. Bo Corona later joined the Fierro HD family when the station expanded to Houston in November 2019, anchoring the afternoon drive.
Known for its unwavering commitment to promoting Tejano music and culture, Fierro HD is an affiliate of the syndicated Tejano Nation Radio Show with Romeo and Jammin’ J Javi. The station also airs Tejano Nation News with Romeo daily during both the Bo Corona and Bo Leo shows.
Originally launched in November 2015 on La Grande 107.5 HD2 (KMVK-FM), Fierro HD made history as the first 24-hour Tejano radio station in the Dallas–Fort Worth area in many years. Its expansion to Houston on KLOL 101.1 HD2 in 2019 further solidified its role as a vital voice for Tejano music across Texas.
With familiar voices in new time slots and milestone celebrations underway, Fierro HD’s February changes signal both evolution and continuity—keeping “Puro Tejano” alive, loud, and proudly on the air.
