Two-time Latin Grammy Award winner Michael Salgado is showing no signs of slowing down as he carries the momentum of his 30-year career milestone into the new year with the release of “Una Página Más,” the second official music video from his latest album, Homenaje A Mis Ídolos Vol. 2.
Released in December, the album serves as a heartfelt tribute to the artists who helped shape Salgado’s sound and the Norteño genre as a whole. “Una Página Más,” originally recorded by Los Cadetes de Linares in 1995, stands out as one of the project’s most reflective selections, blending nostalgia with Salgado’s unmistakable vocal delivery.
Filmed on the outskirts of San Antonio, Texas, the music video delivers a cinematic visual style that mirrors the album’s emotional depth and personal storytelling. Produced by 92 Vision Pictures and directed by Mikeshotit, the video captures the spirit of remembrance and reflection that runs throughout the project, marking the second official single rollout from the album.
“This album is very personal to me,” Salgado said. “It’s about honoring the artists who paved the way, but also about the memories their music holds. These songs can take you back to a moment, a place, or someone important in your life.”
Homenaje A Mis Ídolos Vol. 2 continues Salgado’s long-standing tradition of paying respect to the legends who influenced his career while introducing those classic songs to new generations of fans. The release follows a landmark year in 2025 that celebrated three decades of Salgado’s impact on Tejano and Norteño music.
Fans can also expect more visuals soon, as several additional music videos from the album have already been completed and are slated for release in the coming months. Meanwhile, Salgado remains busy on the road, continuing his tour schedule throughout 2026 while simultaneously working on new projects.
With “Una Página Más,” Michael Salgado once again proves that honoring the past can be just as powerful as forging ahead—one page at a time.
