The track transforms a familiar anthem into a fresh, rhythmic cumbia powered by Tejano instrumentation, street storytelling, and Southern swagger.
The remix, produced with a cross-cultural vision, represents the blend of sounds and identities that define Texas and Northern Mexico—rap, country rap, Tejano, and regional influences all woven into one explosive track. Lil’ Flip delivers his unmistakable Houston flow, while Cory With The Keys layers in a country-rap twist that pairs seamlessly with Negami’s signature Tejano and urban style.
“Bringing Lil’ Flip and Cory With The Keys into this project made the vision complete,” said Negami, also known as Juan Carlos Villegas. “We wanted something that represents where we come from—Houston, Texas, and our Mexican heritage—and do it in a way that feels new, fresh, and true to who we are.”
