The label teased the electrifying new track “Haces Falta Tú,” featuring Garza alongside two major voices in the genre—Pete Astudillo and Cezar Martinez—with production by acclaimed keyboardist Hector Gutierrez Sr. “Get ready! The announcement comes on the heels of another major milestone: David Lee Garza Y Los Musicales have officially released their brand-new single, “Atormentando,” marking their first-ever release under the Freddie Records banner. The track ushers in a fresh era for the iconic group, whose influence has shaped Tejano music for over four decades.

Pete Astudillo

Astadillo is one of Tejano music’s most celebrated songwriters and performers. A key creative force in Selena’s career, he began as a backup singer and dancer with Selena y Los Dinos before breaking out as a successful solo artist. He co-wrote some of Selena’s most iconic hits—“Bidi Bidi Bom Bom” and “Amor Prohibido” among them—and was inducted into the Tejano Roots Hall of Fame in 2019.

Cezar Martinez

Martinez has served as the powerful lead vocalist for Los Musicales for more than a decade, delivering fan favorites such as “Hasta El Día,” “Otros Planes,” and “Destéllame.” His tenure with the band includes standout albums like Solamente Tú and Así Es La Vida, solidifying him as one of the most recognizable voices in modern Tejano.

Hector Gutierrez Sr.
