LUBBOCK, TX — The holiday season is a time for togetherness, gratitude, and community — and this year, two beloved West Texas bands are making sure everyone has a place at the table. On Thursday, November 27, 2025, the Imperial Convention Center will open its doors for a Free Thanksgiving Meal & Music event, welcoming anyone in need of a warm meal, good company, and live Tejano sounds.
From Asaltø and Grupo Zodiacal, in partnership with Fast Foam, Benavides Entertainment, La Ley 103.5, Retro Tejano 103.5 HD2, and the Imperial Convention Center, this heartfelt event carries a simple but powerful message: “From our families to yours, nobody stays without.”
Doors open at 5 PM, and guests can enjoy a free meal surrounded by music, fun, and community spirit. A sound setup will also be ready for a jam session, inviting musicians and guests to share in the festive atmosphere. There’s no cost to attend — everyone is welcome, no questions asked.
“We know times are tough for a lot of families,” said event organizers. “This is our way of giving back — reminding our neighbors they’re not alone this Thanksgiving.”
The celebration will take place at:
📍 Imperial Convention Center
906 50th St., Lubbock, TX 79412
Those who want to help are encouraged to volunteer or donate to support the effort to feed those in need.
