The Tejano Music Awards has officially announced that the general ballot for public voting for the 45th annual awards show is now available online. Fans of Tejano music can cast their votes for their favorite artists in various categories, making their voices heard in the longest-running awards show dedicated to the Tejano genre.
This year’s categories include Song of the Year, Male and Female Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year for Tejano and Conjunto, Collaboration/Duo of the Year, and Best New Artist for Male, Female, and Group, among others.
Voting is open now at TejanoMusicAwards.com and will continue through Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. CT. Each household is allowed one vote per artist, group, or manager, and duplicate or invalid ballots will be deleted. Due to the number of qualified nominees, some categories may feature fewer than 12 contenders.
Artists submitted their full albums, released between January 1 and December 31, 2024, for consideration. The industry ballots have already determined the first round of nominees, and now the public vote will decide the Top 5 finalists in each category. Those final nominees will be revealed after voting closes later this month.
The winners will be announced during the 45th Annual Tejano Music Awards on Friday, November 21, 2025, at the Texas Rodeo Saloon in Katy, Texas. This milestone event marks a new chapter for the prestigious awards show, moving from its longtime home in San Antonio—the “Tejano Music Capital of the World”—to Katy for the first time in decades.
Fans can look forward to a star-studded night filled with live performances, tributes, and special collaborations that honor both Tejano legends and rising stars. The performance lineup includes Lucky Joe, Da Krazy Pimpz, David Olivarez, The Homeboyz, El Plan, and more to be announced. Comedian Alex Reymundo will host the ceremony, bringing his signature humor and energy to what’s famously known as the “Biggest Night in Tejano Music.”
The celebration kicks off with a red carpet event from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m., followed by the awards ceremony at 7:00 p.m.Tables for the event sold out in less than 72 hours, but general admission tickets are still available.
