Los Chamacos have officially revealed their first October concert dates with a newly reunited lineup that has Tejano fans buzzing with excitement.
Last week, the Grammy-nominated band announced the long-awaited return of their powerhouse 1990s roster: Roel Joslin, Eduardo “Chato” Ordoñez, and Hector Tello. The reunion marks the first time in over two decades that this trio has shared the stage, reigniting the unmistakable energy that helped define a golden era of Tejano music.
“One goal… Bringing back that solid drive, beat, and sound that Tejano fans loved, cherished, and most certainly have missed throughout the years,” the group said in a statement. With humor and gratitude for their loyal supporters, Los Chamacos added, “Yea…we missed us too.”
The reunited lineup’s legacy dates back to 1993’s landmark album Unrivaled, which propelled Los Chamacos into the national spotlight. Throughout the 1990s, they headlined major venues, earned Grammy nominations, appeared on television, and carved their place in Tejano history with their explosive, unified sound. Though the lineup dissolved in 1999, its impact has endured.
Now, 25 years later, the original “Smash Hit Team of the 90s” is back — stronger than ever. Los Chamacos bring with them a decorated résumé that includes four Grammy nominations, two Latin Grammy nominations, three Gold Albums, and induction into the Tejano ROOTS Hall of Fame.
The group’s October schedule for their newly formed lineup includes:
- October 4 – San Jose Annual Jamaica, Crosbyton, TX
- October 16 – Tequilas, San Antonio, TX
- October 17 – Whiskey Rio, Corpus Christi, TX
- October 18 – Players Sports Bar, Dallas, TX
- October 24 – Rusty Rooster Icehouse, San Diego, TX
- October 25 – Dade City, FL
- October 31 – Spinach Festival, Crystal City, TX
- November 1 – Toucan Lounge, Brownsville, TX
With a renewed vision and the drive to recapture their celebrated sound, Los Chamacos are ready to once again set stages ablaze, delivering the passion and rhythm that made them legends — and proving their legacy is far from over.
