HOUSTON, TX — The 46th Annual Festival Chicano will light up Miller Outdoor Theatre October 2–4 with three nights of music, heritage, and community, and this year fans from around the world can experience one of the festival’s biggest nights live online.
On Friday, October 3, legendary Grammy winner Little Joe y La Familia and fan-favorite La Sombra de Tony Guerrero will take the stage in a performance that will also be live-streamed, allowing Tejano music lovers everywhere to join in the celebration.
The festival kicks off Thursday, October 2, with high-energy sets from Ricky Naranjo y Los Gamblers and Mike Gonzalez and The Iconiczz. Friday brings the highly anticipated live-streamed lineup with Little Joe and La Sombra, while Saturday, October 4, closes the celebration with powerhouse vocalist Isabel Marie and Tejano hitmakers Ricardo Castillon y La Diferenzia.
For nearly five decades, Festival Chicano has honored the richness of Chicano culture through music, presenting Tejano, conjunto, mariachi, and orquesta in one of the oldest and longest-running free cultural events of its kind in the world. More than just concerts, the performances embody a cultural tradition that continues to inspire generations with its unique, original American sound.
All shows begin at 7:30 p.m. at Miller Outdoor Theatre. Covered seating tickets are free but required, available online at MillerOutdoorTheatre.com one day prior to each performance beginning at 10:00 a.m., or in person at the box office starting one hour before showtime. Hill seating is always free with no ticket required—just bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy.
Fans can stream the Friday night performance of Little Joe y La Familia and La Sombra de Tony Guerrero live through the Miller Outdoor Theatre website and YouTube channel.
The 46th Annual Festival Chicano continues its tradition of celebrating identity, music, and community, promising another unforgettable chapter in Houston’s cultural history.
