Rising Tejano star Veronica La Consentida has joined forces with Tejano powerhouse Chente Barrera for a brand-new duet, “Ritmo De Amor.” The dynamic collaboration blends romance, energy, and the unmistakable heartbeat of Tejano music, and the official music video has just premiered.
The pairing marks a special moment in the genre, bringing together two distinct voices from different stages of the Tejano scene — Veronica, who is pioneering the sound in Las Vegas and connecting with a fresh generation of fans, and Barrera, a decorated legend celebrated for his dedication to preserving Tejano’s deep roots.
Produced by Frank “Panchito” Villarreal and recorded at Javi’s Studio in San Antonio, Texas, the track was written by Rene de la Cerda Jr., Francisco Villarreal, and Eva Carolina Davis. With heartfelt lyrics and dynamic melodies, “Ritmo De Amor” creates undeniable chemistry between the two artists, allowing each to shine while complementing the other.
“I always dreamed of singing a duet with a legend in the Tejano industry — and that dream has finally come true. I am beyond honored and deeply grateful for this incredible opportunity,” Veronica shared.
More than just a duet, “Ritmo De Amor” serves as a cultural bridge. Veronica’s Vegas flair collides beautifully with Chente’s decades of artistry, resulting in a celebration of love, rhythm, and the unifying spirit of Tejano music.
The official music video, filmed by award-winning filmmaker Ryan Bazan and edited by LO 4 Productions, visually captures the song’s energy and emotion, offering fans a powerful experience that mirrors the passion behind the collaboration.
