Toledo, OH — A new voice with deep Tejano roots has officially arrived. Meché Trejo makes her highly anticipated debut in the Tejano music scene with the emotionally charged single, “Sabes Que Te Amo,” available now on all digital streaming platforms.
The song is a touching collaboration between Meché and her father, Andrés Trejo, with production by Miguel Hernandez of R.A.W Elements Music Group. Infused with both contemporary Tejano flair and the soul of classic regional storytelling, “Sabes Que Te Amo” showcases Meché’s heartfelt vocals and songwriting talent. The accompanying music video, directed by Owl Visions, also premieres across major video platforms.

Music runs deep in Meché’s blood. Her grandfather, Andres Trejo Sr., led the celebrated group Andy Trejo y Sus Dinámicos, and her father built his own legacy performing with groups like Los Untouchables and Pasión. That rich family history now comes full circle as Meché steps into her own spotlight with a song that pays tribute to love, heritage, and musical passion.
“This song is incredibly personal to me,” Meché shared. “To write it with my dad and carry on our family’s musical legacy in my own voice is something I’ll always cherish. This is just the beginning.”
With “Sabes Que Te Amo,” Meché Trejo honors her lineage while confidently carving out her place in the next generation of Tejano artists. Keep an eye on this rising star—her journey is just beginning.
