Landon Alan is making waves in the Tejano music world as the youngest recording male artist to debut with his first single, “Ven y Baila”. At just 9 years old, Landon is already showing the passion and charisma of a seasoned performer, and fans are taking notice.
Landon’s love for Tejano music began at the age of 2, when his grandmother, a devoted fan of the genre, would play classic Tejano hits around the house. That early exposure sparked a passion for singing that has now blossomed into a full-fledged music career.
His journey caught the attention of Tejano icon Shelly Lares, who was so impressed by Landon’s energy and talent that she decided to write and produce “Ven y Baila” herself with lyrics written by Jose Rosario Gonzalez. The single, infused with both traditional Tejano and Regional Mexican sounds, showcases Landon’s natural stage presence and undeniable charm.
Interestingly, Landon is just beginning to learn Spanish, taking lessons to further develop his language skills as he continues to embrace the roots of the music he loves.
“Ven y Baila” is a fun, danceable cumbia that’s sure to get listeners moving. Landon’s joyful spirit radiates through every note, making him a rising star to watch. With Shelly Lares as his mentor, he’s the latest emerging talent to be guided by the Tejano legend, who retired from touring three years ago and now focuses on nurturing the next generation of artists through her Shellshock Records 3 label and role as Artist in Residence at the University of Texas at San Antonio.
With the guidance of “Little Miss Dynamite,” Landon Alan is poised to make a lasting impact on the Tejano music scene. Don’t be surprised if you find yourself hitting repeat on “Ven y Baila”—this 9-year-old sensation is just getting started!
