Austin, TX — The Hot Tejano Breakfast Club Morning Show celebrated its second anniversary on July 10, 2024. Hosted by fan favorites DJ Suavesito and Sunflowers Rodriguez, affectionately known as “your favorite Tío and Tía in the morning,” the beloved morning show has become a staple for Tejano fans across the country.
According to a recent press release from Hot Tejano, the show holds the No. 1 spot among all active morning shows, a remarkable achievement for a platform that started with a vision to bring something different to Tejano radio. Now, two years in, that mission is thriving.
Broadcasting live every weekday from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. CT on the Hot Tejano app and TikTok LIVE (@djsuavesito-hottejano), the show is a must-listen destination for Tejano music lovers. It’s packed with live artist interviews, up-to-the-minute news and weather, daily laughs, giveaways, and, of course, plenty of fresh Tejano hits.
What really makes the show shine is the duo’s chemistry and connection with their audience. Sunflowers Rodriguez uplifts listeners daily with her “motivation word of the day,” while DJ Suavesito keeps the energy high with humor, heart, and high-quality Tejano vibes.
In a heartfelt message to fans, the duo expressed deep gratitude.
“We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation for your commitment to making our vision possible,” the hosts said jointly.
DJ Suavesito added, “Thank you to all of the listeners that make the show bigger every morning — numbers don’t lie. When we started this show, we said we’d be different than any other morning show. We’ve done that. Two years down and many more to come! Thank you to the Pulido and Tristan families and the entire Hot Tejano Crew.”
Sunflowers Rodriguez also shared a touching message:
“First and foremost, I want to give God all the glory. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to all the fans, listeners, and supporters for allowing me to do what I love best on this amazing journey. Without you, I would not be where I am today.”
“My goal is to keep moving forward on my Hot Tejano platform — to keep providing the best that I can, doing what I love, and growing with humility and kindness. Special thanks to my family, DJ Suavesito, Mr. Pulido, Chris Tristan, and the entire Hot Tejano Team for always believing in and supporting me. May God continue to bless me on this journey.”
