SOUTH PADRE ISLAND, TX — Get ready to celebrate the Fourth of July like never before as The Cowboy Cumbia Tour brings its high-energy, genre-blending show to the Cameron County Amphitheater and Event Center at South Padre Island on Friday, July 4, 2025. This FREE epic event promises an all-day musical fiesta, featuring over 10 incredible artists who will unite the sounds of Country, Cumbia, Pop, and Hip-Hop in one unforgettable Independence Day celebration.
Headlining the party is the legendary DJ Kane, the original voice of the iconic Kumbia Kings. As the unmistakable sound behind global hits like “Boom Boom,” “Shhh!,” “Azucar,” “No Tengo Dinero,” “Fuiste Mala,” and “Reggae Cumbia,” DJ Kane will bring his signature cumbia energy to the island, turning the amphitheater into the ultimate dance floor.
The tour also shines a spotlight on Texas Urban Country with Chris Detroit, known for his Nu-Country style that fuses traditional country roots with modern electronic beats. A key collaborator behind hits for UMG Nashville’s Louie The Singer, Chris Detroit will have the crowd singing along to his chart-topping creations. Sharing co-headlining honors are the Buck’n Crazy Band, local favorites ready to fire up fans with their catchy, crowd-pleasing country anthems.
The lineup doesn’t stop there. Reny Roland & the Kicker Daddy Legacy Band will deliver a nostalgic set of country classics in both English and Spanish, paying tribute to the storied Roland family name. Meanwhile, Miles Williams & Hammer Down will keep the Williams’ family tradition alive with a mix of Hank Williams covers and original songs that honor their legendary roots.
Adding a pop flare to the celebration is rising Latino Pop star Krystall Poppin, making her South Padre Island debut. Already earning comparisons to Cardi B, this powerhouse performer promises a set packed with energy, style, and unforgettable moments.
The event runs from 1:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the Cameron County Amphitheater & Event Center, located at 53550 Dolphin Cove, South Padre Island, TX 78597. Presented by U Entertainment and hosted by J Bell, The Cowboy Cumbia Tour invites music lovers of all ages to join this unique Fourth of July party by the beach.
Don’t miss your chance to experience the ultimate Independence Day bash — where country meets cumbia, and the party lasts all night long!
