Veteran Tejano radio personality Bo Corona will take the reins of the Q99.5 FM morning show in San Angelo, Texas, starting Monday, June 16. Known for his infectious energy and decades of dedication to the Tejano music scene, Bo Corona is set to bring his trademark style to the airwaves every weekday from 6 to 10 a.m.
This move marks another exciting addition to Bo Corona’s growing presence across Texas. With over 30 years of radio experience, including stints at KPRR-FM in El Paso, KTFM-FM in San Antonio, and KXTJ-FM and KQQK-FM in Houston, Corona has long been a beloved figure in Tejano broadcasting. He also played a pivotal role in launching KXTN-FM (now KVBH-FM) in San Antonio, where he anchored the morning show.
“We are excited to bring the high-energy Bo Corona Show to San Angelo and the Q99.5 lineup!” said Tony Cuellar, Owner of Saver Media LLC/KQTC-FM. “He will be a welcome addition to the party.”
For Bo Corona, the move is more than just another show—it’s a mission. “I am truly honored to bring the Bo Corona Show to San Angelo,” he shared. “Each new city represents another step in my mission to preserve and celebrate Tejano music across Texas. I am humbled by the continued support and excited to start every morning with my new listeners! Let’s go my Tejanitas and Tejanitos!”
