Michael Salgado continues to celebrate an incredible 30 years in the Tejano music industry with a nationwide anniversary tour — and fans in Las Vegas are in for a special treat. The Tejano icon has announced that Latin Country sensation Louie The Singer will join him as a special guest for his upcoming show at the Fremont Country Club on Saturday, July 12, 2025.
“We want everyone to come out and join us,” said Salgado. “If you haven’t got your tickets, make plans to do so and party with us down at the Fremont Country Club in Las Vegas.”
Doors will open at 8 p.m., and tickets are available now at michaelsalgado.com.
The Las Vegas performance promises to be a milestone moment in Salgado’s storied career. Known for blending traditional Tejano with Norteño influences, Michael Salgado rose to fame in the mid-1990s with hits like “Sin Ella,” “Cruz de Madera,” and “Palomita Blanca.” His unique sound, powerful vocals, and heartfelt lyrics helped usher in a resurgence of Norteño-style music within the Tejano scene, earning him multiple awards and a loyal fan base over three decades. He has also recorded Country hits like “Blame It On The Beer” and “She Thinks My Name Is Whiskey.”
Joining Salgado on stage is Louie The Singer, a Latin Country artist, songwriter, and producer hailing from Fort Worth, Texas. Louie, who recently signed with UMG Nashville, has been making waves with his genre-blending style and emotional storytelling. His latest single, “Más Maria,” released in April, showcases his fusion of country grit with Latin soul.
“Getting to not only play the same shows with Michael is not only an honor, but I think a great look for Mexican Americans as a whole,” said Louie The Singer. “He does Tejano and was told he sounded too Norteño at one point and I do Country and I’m told I sound like everything else but Country, yet here we are. God is good. I can’t wait for Las Vegas.”
The collaboration between Salgado and Louie isn’t just a one-night event. Louie The Singer recently announced that Michael Salgado will also make a guest appearance at his hometown show at Billy Bob’s Texas in Fort Worth on June 6 — a sign of mutual respect between the two artists and a powerful merging of generations and genres.
As Salgado’s 30th Anniversary Tour rolls on, each stop serves as a celebration of his enduring influence on the Tejano and Norteño music scenes. With energy, passion, and a catalog of timeless hits, fans attending the Las Vegas show can expect a night that honors the past, celebrates the present, and looks boldly toward the future of Latin music.
Don’t miss this iconic night in Las Vegas — a rare opportunity to see two powerhouse performers share one stage.
