SAN ANTONIO, TX — Latin Grammy-winning Tejano star Bobby Pulido officially kicked off his highly anticipated Por La Puerta Grande Tour in San Antonio, Texas on Friday night (April 25), at the Boeing Center at Tech Port — and the night was made even more special as he celebrated his birthday surrounded by family, fans, and unforgettable memories.
The “Desvelado” singer took to social media to express his gratitude, posting heartfelt words about the experience:
“Last night was one of those moments I’ll carry with me forever. We kicked off the Por La Puerta Grande tour together — my dad, my family, and all of YOU. Getting to celebrate my birthday on stage, in a city that means so much to us — San Antonio, Texas — made it even more unforgettable.”
Pulido, a staple in the Tejano music scene for nearly three decades, shared the emotional stage with his legendary father, Roberto Pulido, marking a significant moment in what will be his farewell tour. But for Bobby, this tour is more than a goodbye — it’s a tribute to his roots, a celebration of family, and a reminder of the deep bond he shares with his fans.
“This is more than music. This is family. This is legacy. And we’re just getting started!” Pulido added.
As he prepares to step away from the stage and potentially step into the political world, Pulido is ensuring his departure is a memorable one. He plans to release his final album in May, titled Bobby Pulido & Friends – Una Tuya y Una Mía, a double live album filled with star-studded collaborations, recorded during special concerts in Monterrey, Mexico.
The Por La Puerta Grande Tour 2025 will travel across the U.S. and Mexico, with a major highlight scheduled for August 9 at Mexico City’s iconic Auditorio Nacional. Fans can view the full tour schedule and grab tickets now at BobbyPulido.com.
Bobby Pulido’s farewell isn’t just an end; it’s a heartfelt celebration of where it all began — a fitting tribute to a career that has left an indelible mark on Tejano music and beyond.
