“In honor of my birthday…I wanted to release a song that we could all use to celebrate!” Devin shared. “I have had this idea in my back pocket for some time now and with the help of my wonderful husband Lucky Joe and the amazing Gabriel Zavala, we brought my idea to life.”
“Mi Cumpleaños” is co-written by Devin’s husband, Latin Grammy-nominated artist Lucky Joe, along with production from award-winning hitmaker Gabriel Zavala. The single is now available on all digital music platforms and continues to showcase Banda’s ability to connect with her audience through heartfelt, catchy, and relatable music.
The release comes on the heels of Devin Banda’s highly anticipated return to the Tejano scene following a four-year hiatus. Her six-track EP, Vamos a Brindar, marked a powerful comeback, led by the fan-favorite cumbia single “Me Olvidaré de Ti.” That momentum will only build as Devin prepares to debut the official music video for “Me Olvidaré de Ti” on May 2.
