Angelica Y Moneda Drop Fierce New Single ‘Extrañame Ahora Baby’

Angelica Y Moneda are turning up the heat with the release of their bold and passionate new single, “Extrañame Ahora Baby,” available now on all digital platforms. A fiery fusion of traditional Tejano roots and a sleek, modern edge, the track sets the tone for the group’s evolving sound and message. At its heart, “Extrañame Ahora Baby” is a declaration of self-worth—an anthem that reminds listeners to never settle for less than they deserve.

Formed in 2023, Angelica Y Moneda has quickly built a reputation for breaking molds and blazing trails. The group features Tweet Juarez, a Latin Grammy-winning accordionist, alongside powerhouse vocalist Angelica Alcoser, who recently earned Best Vocal Performance at the Premios Tejano Mundial 2025. With undeniable stage presence and a genre-defying sound, the group continues to grow their fanbase across Texas and beyond.

Their new single offers the first taste of their highly anticipated upcoming EP, La Casa de Moneda. Produced by Grammy-winner Eddie Perez and Michael Rodriguez at Gruene Studios, the track was penned by songwriter Martin Gil, whose fresh lyrical approach perfectly complements the band’s dynamic energy.

“This song isn’t just a vibe—it’s a statement,” Angelica shared. “It’s crazy that just 3 years ago my life’s journey brought me to a place where I could record music and just 2 years ago MONEDA came to be. I said in an interview once that this journey is less about me and more about the band and creating beautiful music.”

She continued, “Life is about changing things up, doing this differently and sometimes going against the grain. That’s what I love about Moneda music—it’s constantly evolving… fresh, different, and that happens when you mix things up with different songwriters, different musicians in the studio, and different teams. Hear me: I’m not saying better, I’m saying each team is uniquely different. We are proud of each of the projects and teams we have worked with.”

The release of “Extrañame Ahora Baby” also marks a new creative chapter for Angelica Y Moneda, with their upcoming EP featuring tracks written entirely by new collaborators. “The songs on this next EP are from songwriters we’ve not used before… and we love them,” Alcoser said.

Fans of the group can expect a powerful mix of new material alongside fan-favorite tracks from their debut KARMA EP and Angelica’s acclaimed solo release, GIRLS NIGHT. The latter earned her Best New Female Artist at the 42nd Annual Tejano Music Awards and Top New Female Artist at the 5th Annual My Tejano Awards in 2022.
