
SAN ANTONIO, TX — Palo Alto College has announced that its popular Eggstravaganza community egg hunt, originally scheduled for Saturday, March 29, has been postponed due to recent heavy rains and saturated grounds. The event will now take place on Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Eggstravaganza is a cherished annual tradition that brings together families for a day of fun and excitement. The free event is open to children aged 12 and under, with limited on-site registration available from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on the day of the event. Families can expect a day packed with entertainment, games, and special surprises.
“We are grateful to be able to bring the community together again for Eggstravaganza,” said Dr. Robert Garza, President of Palo Alto College. “This event is an incredible opportunity for families to make memories while enjoying a fun day of activities and entertainment. We look forward to seeing everyone there!”
Event Highlights:
- Egg Hunt: Open to children aged 1–12. Free baskets will be available while supplies last.
- Games and Petting Zoo: Guests can enjoy unlimited games and a petting zoo for just $5.
- Special Guests: Primo and Prima the Palominos will make special appearances throughout the day.
- Prizes and Giveaways: Participants can win prizes through various games and activities.
Although pre-registration is closed, limited on-site registration will be available on the day of the event from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. Early arrival is encouraged as large crowds are expected.
