“Back by tradition and popular demand, the Tejano Conjunto Festival Poster Contest kicks off this year anticipating great participation from Conjunto music and art fans throughout Texas and beyond,” says Cristina Balli, Executive Director of the Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center. “We’ve had many schools contact us already inquiring about this year’s contest. Students and the public at large look forward to seeing the winning poster each year, and Festival patrons enjoy buying and collecting the T-shirts.”

The contest provides opportunities for students in middle school, high school, and college to compete for the top prize alongside open and professional categories. The theme for the posters must be “Conjunto music” and include the words “Tejano Conjunto Festival in San Antonio 2025.” Entries are due by February 12, 2025, at 5 pm CST, and winners will be announced on February 27, 2025. The overall contest winner and each category winner will be presented in a special session on May 16, 2025, at the Tejano Conjunto Festival at Rosedale Park, one of the birthplaces of Conjunto music.
