Former Tejano radio host Nino Brown is set to launch his new show, “On The Porch,” on ValaVision TV. This unique program features one-on-one interviews with artists and celebrities, conducted on their porches, where they discuss life, love, and career. The intimate setting allows guests to connect with their fans and share their stories in their own words.
The debut episode, airing this week, features an interview with rising Tejano star Jenny B. Future episodes will include conversations with Tejano music legend David Farias and emerging artist Rev Ray, among others.
Nino Brown, a retired United States Navy Persian Gulf War veteran, joined ValaVision TV last summer with the debut of his show “Noticias Con Nino Brown.” Known for his impactful presence in the San Antonio community, Brown has a rich background in media and radio, with 37 years of experience. He has hosted events worldwide, showcasing his versatility and reach.
“I have often tried to make an impact in my culture in San Antonio and surrounding areas by involving myself in community events to give back to the community,” said Brown. “I am very proud of my heritage and culture. Where I come from and grew up is who I am, and I give respect to those whose shoulders I stand on, to help uplift our heritage and culture.”
Brown is wrapping up a role in an independent film, “Silk Shadows,” directed by Colin Bressler, scheduled for release in Summer 2025.
“On The Porch” adds a fresh and exciting element to ValaVision TV’s winter schedule. The show can be streamed on ROKU and online at ValaVisionTV.com, making it accessible to a wide audience eager to tune in and experience the unique blend of insight and charisma that Nino Brown brings to the screen.
