
ROCKPORT, Texas — The much-anticipated Fiesta En La Playa concert, originally scheduled for this Labor Day Weekend, has been postponed due to an inclement weather forecast. The outdoor event, organized by Tejano ROOTS Hall of Fame promoter Jim Luna of Quartermoon Productions, has been rescheduled to ensure the safety of all attendees.
In a recent update, Jim Luna shared, “Due to the upcoming weather and keeping everybody safe we moved the date!! Join us for ‘THE REMAKE’ of Fiesta En La Playa!! Friday and Saturday Oct. 25th and 26th now known as ‘EL CONCERTO de DIA DE LOS MUERTOS!! Friday lineup coming soon!! All tickets are still good!! More Info and full poster to follow!!”
The rescheduled event, now titled “El Concierto de Dia de Los Muertos,” will take place on October 25th and 26th at the Festival Grounds in Rockport Harbor. The Saturday lineup will feature performances by La Fiebre, Lucky Joe, and the Emilio Navaira Tribute Show, which includes his sons, Emilio Navaira IV and Diego Navaira. Additional performers will be announced soon.
