
Las Vegas, NV – The second night of the 20th Anniversary Vegas Tejano Takeover at Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino was a spectacle to behold. The Gran Baile featured a lineup of Tejano music’s biggest stars, each delivering unforgettable performances that left the audience in awe.
Jennifer Peña, the Princess of Tejano music, shined on stage, performing her signature hits in a sparkling sequined outfit. Her powerful vocals and charismatic stage presence captivated the audience, making it a night to remember.
The highlight of the evening was the return of Grupo Culturas to the stage for the first time in over 20 years. Delia and Dee of Culturas performed their classic hits, reminding everyone why they are considered Tejano music legends.
“The Voice” Jay Perez belted out his soulful hits, while “The Godfather of Tejano” David Lee Garza y Los Musicales performed their timeless tunes, adding to the night’s musical extravaganza.
The Tejano America Fanfest Expo during the day featured performances from rising stars Crystal Torres, Beatriz Rojas, Lydia Castillo, and Aisha. Other notable performances included Grupo Vidal, The Delta Boyz, Conjunto Baraja de Oro, the 20th anniversary All-star Jam featuring La 45, and the Viva Tejana Dance Company.
The event continues tonight with the Freddie Records 55th anniversary celebration featuring The Legends (Freddie Martinez, Carlos Guzman, and Sunny Ozuna), the return of Elsa Garcia, and Marcos Orozco y Grupo Rebelde, hosted by film icon Edward James Olmos.
The Tejano America Fanfest Expo continues during the day with performances from Laura Denisse y Los Brillantes, the Shellshock Records 3 showcase, Art Tigerina Band, and more.
Sunday’s Squeezebox Ultra Music Bash finale includes La Mafia, Los Palominos, and Conjuntazzo featuring Joel & Sarah.
