The members of Grupo Duelo were involved in a car accident en route to the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo in Texas, in the early hours of Sunday, February 18. The accident occurred on the Monterrey – Reynosa highway, shortly after their performance at the Arena Monterrey.
As a result of the accident, several band members sustained injuries and were transported to various hospitals in the metropolitan region where they are currently receiving medical attention.
Due to these unfortunate circumstances, the band’s scheduled performance at the Stock Show & Rodeo in San Antonio, Texas, has been cancelled until further notice. The band has requested the understanding and patience of their fans as they navigate this challenging situation.
“We will keep everyone informed about the health status of the band members as soon as the medical report is provided. We understand and appreciate the concern of the public and the media. We thank you for your support and understanding,” the band stated in their official communication.
This quote from the band’s statement encapsulates their current situation: “Pedimos la comprensión y paciencia de nuestros seguidores mientras enfrentamos esta situación” (We ask for the understanding and patience of our followers as we face this situation).
