If you love Tejano music and want to support a good cause, don’t miss the 6th annual JR Gomez Toy Drive at Buck’s Backyard in Buda, Texas, on Thursday, December 7, 2023. The event will feature some of the best Tejano artists in the industry, including Ruben Ramos, Conjunto Cats, Art Tigerina, George Mercado, Mario Ortiz, Mike Gonzalez, Di Marie, La Dezz, Demmi Garcia, and Bumper Gomez.
The JR Gomez Toy Drive is a yearly tradition that collects toys for children in need during the holiday season. JR Gomez, an award-winning Tejano singer and musician, started the toy drive in 2018 as a way to give back to the community. Since then, the toy drive has grown every year, attracting thousands of fans and dozens of performers who donate their time and talent.
The cover charge for the event is $15 or a new unwrapped toy. All the toys collected will be distributed to local charities and organizations that serve underprivileged children. The event will start at 7 p.m. and last past midnight. Buck’s Backyard is located at 1750 RM 1626, Buda, Texas.
Don’t miss this opportunity to enjoy a night of great music and make a difference in a child’s life. For more information, visit the JR Gomez Facebook page.
