Lopez Broadcasting‘s K-ALAMO TEJANO 98.9 & 92.1 FM, the leading radio station for Tejano music in San Antonio, Texas, has announced the launch of K Alamo Tejano TV, a new streaming channel that will broadcast Tejano music, artist interviews, DJ mixes, and more, 24 hours a day on Roku TV.
Humberto Lopez Jr, the owner of Lopez Broadcasting, said that the new channel is a way of showing their commitment to preserving and promoting Tejano music and culture in the Capital of Tejano Music and beyond.
“If you currently have Roku, anyone can watch us around the world 24 hours a day. The Lopez family is committed to preserving Tejano music in the Capital of Tejano Music, San Antonio, Texas. This is just yet another way of our commitment and uplifting our Tejano artists, Tejano culture, and music in the San Antonio market and around the world,” he said.
Carlos Lopez, the CEO of Lopez Broadcasting, said that the new channel is an innovative idea that has been in the works for a long time and that they are proud to be able to broadcast live events from around San Antonio, such as The Market Square Fiesta days, Riverwalk, Tejano Awards red carpet, Guadalupe awards, and more.
“Preserving our Tejano music and our culture is paramount to the Lopez family,” he said. “This is yet another step in this process.”
