‘Shelly Lares: The Final Bow’ Coming to DVD and Blu-ray

Shelly Lares: The Final Bow, the final performance and celebration of the 40-year career of Tejano music icon Shelly Lares, will be available soon on DVD and Blu-Ray. The exclusive event, which took place on December 29, 2022, at the Scottish Rite Theatre in San Antonio, Texas, was a night filled with music and memories with tribute performances and stories shared by peers of “Little Miss Dynamite”.

Only 100 fans were able to experience the live show, which featured many speakers including some of the remaining members of Hot Tamales, the first band for Shelly Lares. Patsy Torres, a mentor of Lares, also made an appearance along with other former band members and industry peers. Tribute performances included Stefani Montiel, Gabriel Zavala, Ram Herrera, Sunny Sauceda, Monica Saldivar, and more.

Fans can expect to reminisce and celebrate the legendary 40-year career of Lares, which began when she was just 10 years old, with never before seen photos, videos, and performances. A grand finale from Little Miss Dynamite closed the night by performing her favorite, most heartfelt songs.

Shelly Lares is one of the most enduring artists on the Tejano music scene over the last 30 years and a member of its Hall of Fame. She has a large and devoted following due to her powerfully resonant singing voice and charismatic stage presence. She writes or co-writes all of her own songs, and is also a talented guitarist and percussionist. She has won several awards at the Tejano Music Awards throughout her career, including Female Vocalist of the Year and Entertainer of the Year. She has also been nominated for a Latin Grammy in the Best Tejano Album category

Shelly Lares: The Final Bow is a must-have for any fan of Shelly Lares or Tejano music in general. It is a testament to her talent and legacy as one of the most influential female artists in the genre. The DVD and Blu-Ray will be available soon at shellylares.online or at selected retailers. No official release date has been announced.
