Sonja De La Paz releases unique cumbia ‘Sabes Que Es Verdad’

Sonja De La Paz is one of many emerging singers in the Tejano industry. The Laredo singer released her latest single “Sabes Que Es Verdad” on October 26.

This unique cumbia was produced by De La Paz’s husband Diego Garcia of Tranquillo Music.

The song is basically about a friend fed up with her best friend constantly playing the one-sided love game and continues going back to her ex.

“I’m sure there are a lot of women and men out there who feel like they don’t deserve better but everyone deserves to be loved and treated with respect,” De La Paz tells Tejano Nation. “Never settle for anything less.

She added, “Diego and I worked really hard to get this song out by the end of the year and we did it. I absolutely love how Diego is always able to capture my vision and bring everything to life.”

De La Paz said she thinks this new cumbia is one of her favorites so far.

“Sabes Que Es Verdad” is now available on all digital platforms.
