Freddie Records premiered the official music video for “Que Voy A Hacer” on Friday (Oct. 28), the hit duet from Elida Y Avante and Bobby Pulido.
The visual for the highly-anticipated duet was directed by Lalo Reyna III, Avante bandleader and husband of Elida Reyna, and Raul Nava of Interline Films, who produced the video that displays the chaos of a toxic relationship.
“You see the chaos within the relationship and some people or a lot of people are going to be to relate,” said Elida Reyna in an interview with Jonny Ramirez at Tejano 95.7/103.3 FM in San Antonio, Texas. “And that’s what you are going to see in the video. They fight and they make up and they fight again and it’s even worse.”
The dynamic cumbia with a strong and beautiful medley was written by the notable composers Adrian Guerra and Miguel Zola, and produced by Lalo Reyna III, husband of Elida Reyna and leader of Avante. The track was recorded in the Intocable studios in Zapata, Texas, and Legends Sound Studios in Corpus Christi, Texas.
This collaboration is just the first of many Elida Reyna has planned for an upcoming EP that will feature other duets including James Arreola of Los Palominos, and Little Joe, with more to be announced soon, according to the interview with Jonny Ramirez.
“Que Voy A Hacer” from Elida Y Avante featuring Bobby Pulido is available to stream or download on all digital music platforms.
