Singer and actress Adassa, the voice of “Dolores” in Disney’s Oscar-winning animated film Encanto, teamed with Brigham Young University’s a cappella group “Vocal Point” to perform an amazing rendition of the chart-topping song “We Don’t Talk About Bruno.”
The video, featuring Adassa and the One Voice Children’s Choir, is filled with bright colors and fun harmonies of the song that now tops Billboard’s Greatest of All Time Disney Songs chart ranking after having spent five straight weeks at No. 1 on the Hot 100 this winter — most recently on the chart dated March 5 — which is the longest any hit from an animated Disney movie has spent atop the chart.
Adassa also recently released two solo singles with Texas-based CHR Records. “Ni Un Beso” and “Tu Traicion,” cumbias fused with Tejano and International rhythms.
BYU Vocal Point is a nine-member, male a cappella group at Brigham Young University, founded in 1991 and is currently under the direction of Emmy award-winning director, McKay Crockett.
