
Just a day after a hospital visit for severe abdominal pain, DJ Kane still plans to perform at his scheduled show in San Antonio, Texas on Saturday night (Mar. 30).
“Gotta feel better…no days off,” DJ Kane posted on his official Facebook page on Friday night. “Wanna thank each and everyone of yall for the love n support…it means the world to me you have no idea..my wife just read each of you alls comments one by one..you guys uplifted my spirits..so high thank u thank u thank u see you tomorrow…..God bless you all I love you guys.”
The crooner was sent to the hospital early Friday morning after suffering severe abdominal pain, according to a social media post on his Facebook page.

DJ Kane later updated fans via Facebook post, “I have to have surgery this week. I had really bad stomach.pains. What I have is called diverticulitis, it’s severe pain that comes in thru your intestines…s**t dropped me to the floor…ever 10min…it was horrible…I’ve been to the hospital 4 times already for it but they couldn’t find anything..so..last nite they said I’m gonna have to get surgery..by a GI doctor..which will b this week.”
The former Kumbia Kings lead vocalist still plans to perform all his hits at Sancho’s Hideaway in San Antonio on Saturday night.
“Just for the record, the show I’m having at Sanchos Hideaway here in San Antonio on Sat…is still a go,” he posted on Facebook. “I’m a warrior…nothing gonna stop me from pleasing the fans that bought their tickets and VIP sections…DJ Kane Band will be there and ready to rock.”
Sancho’s Hideaway is located at 4429 Walzem Road. Pre-sale tickets are $10.
