Intocable made a return to the Regional Mexican Albums chart as their latest release, Percepción, debuted at No. 2 this week.
According to Nielsen Music, the 22nd album released from the Grammy-winning group opened with 2,000 equivalent units (1,000 in traditional album sales) for the week ending March 21.
“We are extremely proud of this project,” Intocable lead singer Ricky Muñoz told Billboard. “When we make a new record, we never try to top the previous one. Instead, we truly enjoy and live the moment. Every song, note and word comes from our hearts. Everything we do is for our fans.”
This is the 21st Regional Mexican Albums top 10 for Intocable. It’s the first since their album Highway topped the chart in July 2016. The band has scored 15 No. 1s on the chart including their debut album Llévame Contigo in 1996, according to Billboard.
The album also debuted at No. 15 on the Top Latin Albums chart.
