
Johnny Hernandez was part of the Chicano music movement with The Latinaires and Little Joe Y La Familia and the music legend talks about his book, upcoming music projects and more with Tejano Nation Radio.
Hernandez performed at the Lordsburg Tejano Fiesta in Lordsburg, New Mexico on September 3 and Tejano Nation contributor Fanny Gurl caught up with him about his sought after book, The Cotton Picker – An Odyssey, that chronicles his life from the fields of Texas to performing at major venues across the country.
He also talks three music projects he’s currently working on, including Volume 2 of his greatest hits album series Gracias, Por Todos Exitos. Hernandez also plans a new album with Latin Express set for tentative release in March 2018.
