Michael Salgado recovering after vocal cords operation

Michael Salgado is recovering at home after undergoing a surgical procedure this week in San Antonio.

The two-time Latin Grammy winner had a “clean up on his vocals” on August 8, according to a representative for Salgado in an email to Tejano Nation.

Salgado posted a photo of himself after the procedure on his official Facebook page featuring the singer with his right thumb up and the caption, “Thank you all for your prayers #vocalcordsoperation in and out procedure at home already gracias a Dios.”

He will continue to recover at home until next week and will be back on stage soon.
